The popularity of social media platforms like Instagram, Twitter, Facebook is increasing day by day. The reason behind it is “Influencer marketing”. Yes, you heard about it many times but do not recognize the power of being an influencer. Here I will share my experience of being a blogger and influencer and raising the demand for influencers in the digital world. 

My Blogging Journey 

When I started blogging, my only purpose was to stay updated with the latest technology and trends and express my views on them. That might be a reason, I still continued my blogging. I am a tech-savvy guy, so without any doubt, I go with the technology niche. It’s my interest and passion for technology, I continue to post on it without expecting any outcome. Today content creation has become a huge industry and has a big market space. By the time I realize that I can monetize my blog and can earn a decent amount from it. But I never thought that it’s a long journey to become a high-paid blogger and you have to be super consistent through the journey. 

People are starting blogging today and expecting overnight success from it. They also try for shortcuts to get quick results from it. But my personal advice to all of you is don’t take shortcuts and don’t go with popular topics for the sake of quick popularity. Find out your interest and start writing about it. It takes time to get results but trust me it works!

Rising demand over the years

Nowadays, everyone is aware of the benefits of influencer marketing and blogging and every 6th person is a blogger or influencer. If we consider the numbers, in 2017 influencer marketing is used by 87% of marketers and this number has increased by 1500% over the four years

To understand the rise of influencer marketing, you need to understand the marketing strategy behind influencer marketing. Influencer marketing is a collaboration with bloggers and social media influencers to reach maximum people and increase brand visibility and brand awareness. Targeting the correct influencer increases brand awareness and attracts more revenue. Those are the days when brands make advertising in newspapers and on Televisions. Now influencers can be an effective medium to promote the products, create engaging content and reach maximum people. The equation is simple, the more followers an influencer has, the more reach you get.

Another reason behind the rise of influencer marketing is recommendations and reviews given by the influencers are trustworthy compared to sponsored one. It impacts the followers, attracts them to the brand and makes them think about purchase decisions. Nowadays many influencers promote Cryptocurrencies result in increasing awareness and investments in crypto.

All social media platforms are used but Instagram is the most preferred social media platform by marketers. 79% of marketers used Instagram, 46% preferred Facebook, 36% preferred Youtube and 24% used the Twitter platform.  


Influencer marketing has come a long way from option to become a must-go-to choice for brands. High conversion rate and increasing ROI make the marketers think to make separate budgets for influencer marketing.  Growth in influencer marketing is continuing as marketers make it their first preferred marketing strategy.
